Introducing Logitech’s New Off-Ear Headphones for Quest 2: The Chorus

Logitech has unveiled a new pair of headphones called Chorus for Meta Quest 2 headsets. These headphones are reminiscent of the highly praised off-ear headphones found on Valve’s Index headset. The Chorus headphones slide over the arms of the Quest 2 headset and can be easily connected using the integrated USB-C cable. They also feature an extra port for USB-C passthrough, ensuring they don’t interfere with other accessories or charging cables.

The Chorus headphones promise spacious sound with their open-back design and custom-tuned off-ear acoustics. Unlike traditional headphones, they don’t block out sound from the surrounding environment, allowing users to remain fully aware of their surroundings. When not in use, the headphones can be flipped up to mute them and easily rotated back down when ready to resume virtual reality experiences.

Currently available for pre-order, the Chorus headphones are priced at $99.99. While this is a reasonable price for high-quality headphones, it may be wise to consider the upcoming release of the next version of the Quest 2 headset at Meta’s 2023 Connect event before making a purchase.
