The Vuzix Z100 smart glasses can easily connect to Android or iOS IOT devices through Bluetooth. According to Vuzix, these glasses serve as a groundbreaking link between AI platform tools. With their AI capabilities, the Z100 glasses offer situational guidance to enhance workflows, enabling workers to fully experience the advantages of a connected workplace.
The Vuzix Z100 glasses have a lightweight AI interface that can enhance the data received from finger scanners, sensors, controllers, and other equipment. This data can be presented in a user-friendly format, allowing for easy access. Workflows that previously had limited user feedback due to device or process constraints can now be displayed on the user’s heads-up display, offering outputs that are centered around human needs and providing real-time updates.
Vuzix noted that the Z100 glasses are able to run up to 48 hours on a single charge, and pack heads-up waveguide technology into a sleek, fashionable form factor that weighs in at just 35 grams – the weight of a standard pair of glasses.
Advanced monocular waveguide optics, combined with Vuzix’ custom micro display engine, create a clear, transparent, monochrome image that can deliver important information from a user’s Android or iOS device, hands-free right before their eyes. Wearers get heads-up access to important task information, from language translation and closed captioning, to directions, health and workout status, messaging, workflow outputs, and much more.
The Vuzix Z100 developer’s edition is designed to support the creation of use case-driven applications. Developers gain access to the Company’s complete Android and iOS SDKs, Vuzix Connect demo apps, and sample code. Furthermore, Vuzix Z100 smart glasses come prescription ready.
