In the unique rhythm game Symphoni, you wield magic as you conduct classical music. The mixed reality experience is set to launch next month on Quest.

Studio Techtoy presents Symphoni in the following manner

“Welcome to Symphoni, where you step into the shoes of a grand musical sorcerer breathing new vibrancy into classical compositions. Unlike other rhythm games, Symphoni empowers you to conduct, cast spells, and reshape reality while enjoying masterpieces of the past.

With an initial offering of 16 tracks and three levels of difficulty, Symphoni provides a novel perspective on classical music, encouraging players of varying abilities to immerse themselves in timeless classics in an enchanting and engaging manner.”

Symphoni offers playability with both hand tracking and touch controllers. You conduct in reality as you wave your wand like a baton, summoning portals that transform your living space into symphonic realms.

The music collection at launch features compositions by Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, and other esteemed historical composers.

As you advance in the game, you’ll enhance your magical talents, earn achievement crystals, and gather legendary wands. Plans for a custom song editor and free song updates are on the horizon.

Symphoni is set to arrive at the Horizon Store on March 6, 2025.

Symphoni vs. Maestro?

Symphoni takes inspiration from the brilliant conductor simulation Maestro, but shifts the focus towards magic and mixed reality rather than a realistic orchestral environment.

The studio mentions on Reddit: “If you’re seeking a Disney Fantasia-style experience, I’m confident that Symphoni will be the perfect fit. However, if you’re looking for an authentic conducting experience with an orchestra, Maestro is your top option. They also highlight Symphoni’s replay value, tailored audiovisuals, and the soon-to-come feature for creating and sharing your custom levels as notable assets.

Techtoy is the same team that created the mixed reality rhythm experience Meli, which impressed Josef in his practical demonstration.

From February 21st to 28th, you’ll have the opportunity to try Symphoni for free. More details will be revealed soon on the game’s Discord.
