Alien: Rogue Incursion is a VR exclusive coming to all major VR platforms this year
Survios and 20th Century Games have revealed the upcoming title “Alien: Rogue Incursion” for Meta Quest 3, Playstation VR 2, and PC VR.
Alien: Rogue Incursion is the first Alien game designed from the ground up for virtual reality. Survios describes it as follows:
This brand-new single-player, action horror virtual reality game features an original story that fully surrounds players within the terrors of the Alien universe. Designed by Alien fans for Alien fans, Survios brings their expertise to crafting this technically advanced, and frightfully immersive Alien virtual reality game.
The game Alien: Rogue Incursion is scheduled to release on Christmas 2024 for Meta Quest 3, Playstation VR 2, and PC VR. Its development is based on Unreal Engine 5.
Currently, there is solely a teaser trailer available, lacking any visual materials or video content derived from the game.
Survios’ most ambitious VR game to date
In 2022, Survios revealed their plan to develop a virtual reality game featuring aliens. Along with VR, the game was intended to be released for PC and consoles.
Survios, a well-established VR studio, has created several popular titles such as Raw Data, Sprint Vector, Westworld Awakening, and Creed: Rise to Glory. According to Survios, their latest VR game, Alien: Incursion, is their largest and most ambitious project to date.
